The largest of the 9 Provinces, this huge arid stretch of land is the gateway to Namibia, the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and the Richtersveld National Park. It is also known as the Diamond capital of South Africa. The Namaqualand region is famous for its diverse range of plant species, magnificent shows of wild flowers and rare succulents.
